Impermanence has a split focus between three elements: nature, technology, and the fear of death. Falling towards a bonfire in the middle of a distorted forest, the viewer abandons the fire and crawls beneath the trees mimicking an animal. Phones are found on the floor and are rushed towards as a sign of safety. Modes of symbolic immortality are displayed on these phones and disrupted by glitches or corrupted files. Virtual preservation is also impermanent. While there is a parallel between technology and humankind in this way, man and nature will always be one and in this work there is an invisible and constant dialogue between the two.
